FUJARA FLUTE CONCERT
Friday, May 14, 7:30 pm, Old Parish House, 4711 Knox Road, College Park.
Bob Rychlik will present a concert of fujara and other overtone flutes at the Library of Congress later in May, and this is a special sneak preview for College Park Arts Exchange. The "fujara" overtone flute is a magical instrument, and the performance with fujara and other smaller overtone flutes features the native Slovak folk music, including singing, as well as showcasing contemporary use of fujara, including original compositions.
