Nov. 19, On Rue Tatin: Living and Cooking in a French Town, by Susan Herrmann Loomis. After buying a dilapidated monastery in a little town, the author learns to cook the food and become part of the local way of life.
Dec. 17, The Language of Baklava: A Memoir, by Diana Abu-Jaber. Raised in upstate New York, but spending much time in Jordan, this Jordanian-American bridges both worlds with recipes.
