The Sisters of Ellery Hollow: a tall tale

In a cabin in Ellery Hollow, Abby and & Elsie, sisters, orphans and outcasts, weave the events of their colorful past into a fantastical tapestry of stories.
Stephen Spotswood is a playwright and journalist living in Washington, D.C. Previously produced works include: Miranda is Morning (2009 Mark Twain Prize for Comic Playwriting); The Aaronsville Woman (2007 Paula Vogel Award); Born Normal (2008 Capital Fringe Festival) Gilgamesh, who saw the deep (2008 Capital Fringe Festival); says Eugenia (Cardboard Box Collaborative Theatre Company), MythAppropriations III, IV, and V (contributor, Rorschach Theatre Company); and Give Unto Caesar (Catholic University Religious One Acts Festival winner). He received his M.F.A. in Playwriting from the Catholic University of America in May. Also, he volunteers as an assistant in the literary department at Theater J and traveled to the Sundance Theatre Lab this past summer as an observer and emerging artist.
