Page to Performance Workshop: Monologues & Dialogues

Join fellow writers for a day-long exploration of character and voice followed by an evening performance of the work we create. During the day-time workshops, we’ll write, revise, and perform monologues and dialogues on a chosen theme. We’ll explore what works to make characters alive, believable, specific, funny, and riveting as well as how to use monologues/dialogues to tell a story. The public will be invited to the evening reading.

This event is for writers of plays, fiction, and poetry as well as storytellers and actors who want to learn more about the process of creating and giving voice to characters.
